I was able to complete their computerized general office training to update my computer skills, I also was able to complete their truck driving program. Due to my injury I required a specific certification, in which they guided me to obtain. For this I am very grateful.

My instructor was so helpful. She helped me realize that being scared, afraid, and a little nervous was normal. After being unemployed for a year, I decided to get training in another field. P. Steve Ramirez Training Centers was 1 out 3 institutions I researched. I chose this training center because I felt it's program for Computerized Accounting offered so much more then the other centers. I have learned a lot about computers, and have learned how to use Microsoft Word and Excel (so exciting). When I finished with QuickBooks, I was so proud of the work I put into my studies and finishing the program. Thank you to all the instructors and staff for your support and encouragement and your willingness to be there whenever we needed help. Even when I started doing my assignments online I still had all the support I needed to finish my work. My PSR Instructor, Ms. Juanita would promptly return my calls or answer my emails. I also want to thank Daniel and the Career Services team for the work they have been doing to assist me in my job search.

DO NOT work well with computers… …NOT my area of expertise… …DEVASTED because I really did not want to be focusing on something that wasn’t connected to my service of 37 years… (dinosaur in healthcare) Quickly calmed by PSR Instructor, Myrna that she understood and we would get through this “together”. As time went on, I found myself learning to type, PowerPoint, Word, Excel. By sessions end I had earned a Certificate in Computerized Office/General Office Clerk. I had some special accommodations which I did not feel could be met and by next session, they were met. Then it was job finding time, I had specifics that I could do (and not do) the PSR Job Development Specialist, Daniel, quickly and efficiently gathered the info and within a week I was interviewing and found an accommodating Job. REMEMBER… The job you get may not be the one you want, but it is the one that has been chosen for you, and you a foot in the door. I am so very grateful for the P. Steve Ramirez Vocational Training Centers and especially for Steve, Myrna and Daniel

My PSR Instructor, Myrna Antonio rapidly taught me that it is alright to not know anything, to make errors since she was there to direct me. She was not going to let me fail! I never thought that a person like me, who worked in the fields for 20 years could be able to have another source of job, I never had the opportunity to study before because of the low-income status and being a single mother. When I was accepted into workforce, I think is gone a be possible for me to pursue a career path, so I started P. Steve Ramirez Vocational Services, one of the best experiences of my education, because this school accommodates to my own level of learning, the instructors help me with my personal growth and they adapt to my necessities, I gain more confidence, to reach my professional and personal accomplishments. Now I think that my future can change, I can’t find the words to say how grateful I’m with PSR.Thanks God for this wonderful Program and God blessed you all.
